See you in 2023.

Wishing you and yours Happy Holidays, as well as a healthy, prosperous, and eventful new year!

Dear reader,

As we head into 2023, I want to thank you for your time, attention, and patronage during the last six months or so!

Future of Jewish had an unlikely start. Just a few years ago, I was pretty disinterested in Judaism. I wrote it off as “not for me” even though I was born and raised Jewish in Los Angeles.

But, about a year ago, I started to research the Jewish world. And the more I dug, the more I became fascinated by Judaism, Jewish history, Jewish culture, Jewish wisdom, Zionism, and Israel.

Ultimately, the depth and breadth that is the Jewish treasure trove amazed me, and I decided to share it with you in more than 80 essays, videos, and guided lists since launching Future of Jewish this past spring. Some of the most popular ones include:

I’ve also welcomed some guest writers, who have written about what non-Jews teach us about ourselves and when a Gaza border visit changes opinions.

I hope you’ve enjoyed our thoughts, insights, and perspectives as much as we’ve enjoyed sharing them with you!

We are taking a break in December and look forward to being back in early 2023.

In the meantime, I am wishing you and yours Happy Holidays, as well as a healthy, prosperous, and eventful new year!

~ Josh
